What do Tetras eat ?

Tetras eat almost everything in a living, combined, frozen, granulated and other form.

They are fed by bloodworms, pipeworms, daphnia, artemia, cyclops, gammarus, fruit flies. They can eat crushed oatmeal and bread crumbs, but these are undesirable foods, since they provoke obesity.

They love plucking plants. As a rule, food is taken from the water surface, but can be picked up from the bottom.

Tetra are spawning. Their reproduction is not difficult. Sexual maturation is completed by six to eleven months. If the gaggle is large, then the fish themselves choose their own pair.

Water should be clean and rich in oxygen. Before breeding, males and females are planted in different containers and well fed.
