  4. Currently, Sumatran orangutans can only be found in the northern part of Sumatra. While the Bornean orangutans can be found all across the island of Borneo.
  5. DNA analysis concluded that the orangutans have a 97% of genetic similarity with humans. So it is easy for disease to transmit from orangutans to humans or vice versa.
