2. Definition of CSAE
For the purposes of this policy, Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE) refers to any content, conduct or behaviour that sexually exploits, abuses, or endangers children. This includes, but is not limited to:
Grooming: Establishing a relationship with a child, often online, to lower their inhibitions with the intention of sexually exploiting them.
Sextortion: Coercing or blackmailing a child into sharing sexually explicit material or engaging in sexual acts, typically through digital platforms.
Child Trafficking for Sexual Purposes: Recruiting, transporting, transferring, harbouring, or receiving a child for the purpose of sexual exploitation.
Sexual Exploitation or Abuse: Involving a child in sexual activity, including the creation, distribution, or possession of child sexual abuse material (CSAM).
