Facts about pigs
Domestic pigs are large cloven-hoofed animals, domesticated about 7000 years ago. The body length of the pig is from 0.9 to 1.8 meters, the adult weighs between 50 and 150 kilograms. A domestic pig is omnivorous, like its ancestor, a wild boar. Pork is one of the main types of meat in many countries of the world.
