In the zoo, the menu of giraffes is more diverse than in the wild. His diet includes leaves, grass (clover), oat flakes, hay, bananas, oranges and carrots. This is done to make it convenient for them to get it.
Giraffes have a multi-chambered stomach like a cow and food in it is difficult to digest. Therefore, in order to completely digest, it falls into one stomach, then comes back, and chewed again. This process is called “chewing gum”.
