Bulldogs – information

In general, caring for a French bulldog at home is quite simple. Wool must be occasionally combed with a special brush, preferably after each walk, especially in wet weather, wipe the dog with a towel. Often, you do not need to bathe a short-haired dog, in most cases a wet towel is enough. Experts recommend to arrange bath days every three months, when bathing, use a special shampoo. It is also necessary to monitor the condition of the folds on the muzzle, ears and claws, with a strong soiling to wipe.

French bulldog equally badly tolerates cold and heat. In winter, it is better to wear warm clothes for them, in the summer try to walk in the evening or in the morning, when the sun is not at its zenith.

Feed the French bulldog can be either high-quality dry food, or natural food. What kind of food is better (or more profitable) for the owners. For example, in small cities, less expensive, most likely, will be food natural food. This meat, fish, milk mixtures, products of vegetable origin (vegetables, greens, fruits). Do not give the bulldog potatoes, corn and legumes – they are very poorly digested and can even cause the animal to vomit. You should also try to grind any products, and preferably give meat in the evening.

About the feeding regime: puppies at the age of 1-2 months should be fed six times a day in small portions, then reduce the number of meals to four. At the age of 4 months, you can start to feed three times a day, from 6 months to a year – two times, the adult dog is fed once. Do not try to make the French bulldog eat that food, which he flatly refuses, and it is highly desirable that he eat at about the same time.
