Everyone who watched films shot in the USSR is probably familiar with the work of composer Valery Gavrilin, even if he never heard his name. This ingenious man created many musical works in various genres, but he devoted a fair amount of his life to composing music for Russian cinema.
For the first time, he began to compose music as a schoolboy. He achieved considerable success in this, which invariably surprised adults. Then the young Valery began to master the piano.
The childhood of Valery Gavrilin was not easy. His father died in the war, his mother was arrested, so that he, the actual orphan, was assigned to an orphanage.
During his life, Valery Gavrilin wrote many articles and publications that were published in newspapers and magazines. But fame did not bring him the pen, but the music.
