Barbados Island

Barbados, this small island, is located in the western part of the Atlantic. Currently, the island is home to less than three hundred thousand people. In spite of this, the island belongs to one of the fastest growing islands of the entire Caribbean. Tourists come here from all over the world, and every year the island is becoming more and more popular. Why is Barbados so attractive?

This, of course, is striking for its beauty landscapes, warm sea with white beaches and azure waters. What could be better?

And no matter what kind of vacation you prefer: here everyone will find something interesting for themselves. Barbados is often called “little England”. The island is visited annually by more than 1 million tourists.

Fans of surfing, most likely, will choose the southern coast, since there are all conditions for such an active holiday. The west coast is great for a family holiday.

Also, very near is a number of luxury hotels, literally drowning in the most beautiful greenery. Private villas are no exception. There are also various bars and restaurants where you can get acquainted with the cuisine of Barbados. Flying fish dishes are very popular among tourists. Of the drinks, do not forget to try the local rum, which is the business card of the island.

Both travelers and local residents themselves often call Barbados Little England. This is understandable, because the island was a colony of the United Kingdom for three hundred years. Despite its independence, English traditions still survived here, for example, tea drinking at exactly five o’clock.

In Brijdtaun, the capital of Barbados, there is a square, exactly copying Trafalgar Square, where in the center rises a monument to Vice Admiral Horatio Nelson.

In Harrison, you can visit the tour of the caves, which are striking in their beauty, thanks to the stalactites and stalagmites of fanciful form.

Such is the island, Barbados, where you will find a variety of entertainment in the middle of the Caribbean.
