Bombay cat

Oddly enough, but the Bombay cat does not apply to India. This is a fairly young breed, was bred in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. The felinologists wanted a smaller copy of the panther. After 4 generations of animals, they succeeded. Bombay cat kittens grow up quickly. The Bombay cat has a small, smooth, like satin hair, proportional body, eyes of yellow or amber color.

She really resembles a little panther in her grace. These cats do not have a single bright spot, not even pads on their paws in black.

This is a very peaceful breed of cats, easily gets along with dogs, is closely attached to the owner, can lie on its knees or feet for hours, loves affection. The animal is thermophilic and completely unsuitable for the street.

Bombay cats are playful, they love to play with their master’s children. To strangers they are wary and incredulous; they cannot stand intrusive communication, loneliness and violence. They really like to talk. The voice of a Bombay cat is melodic and quiet.

These miniature panthers are big lovers of “lunch”. Quite often, this leads to obesity, so the owner needs to strictly monitor the diet of his pet.

The hair of the Bombay breed is smooth, short and does not require care except during the molting period. If you regularly comb a cat with a rubber comb, its hair becomes unusually soft and silky.
