The famous artist Viktor Vasnetsov painted mostly paintings on folklore and historical themes. Throughout his life, Vasnetsov devoted most of his time to painting, working hard on every canvas he had to work on.
Victor Vasnetsov’s father was a priest, which predetermined his childhood and youth. He studied the future painter, first in a religious school, and then in a seminary, receiving a religious education.
Victor Vasnetsov’s younger brother, Apollinarius, also became an artist, and very famous.
