If we talk about the total value of the palace, it is five million gold pounds. Here you can see a Bohemian glass chandelier, presented by Queen Victoria, and a collection of paintings by the artist Aivazovsky, and antique furniture that was brought from France: candlesticks, porcelain, candelabra, crystal, silk and much more. To date, this palace remains the official residence of the Prime Minister.

Galata Tower is located in the Galata area, on a high hill. It can be seen almost from all points of the central part of Istanbul. The tower has a height of 61 meters, a width of nine meters, located at a height of about one hundred and forty meters. For many years, it has been a symbol of beautiful Istanbul, built between 1348 and 1349 by the Genoese, who at that time seized Byzantine districts. At that time, this tower was a defensive fortification called “Tower of Jesus”. In the modern version, this tower has an elevator, through which tourists can climb to the observation deck, on its top there is a nightclub where you can have fun.

While in Istanbul, turn your attention to the Blue Mosque – Sultanahmet Mosque, which is the largest and most beautiful mosque in the city. It is, by right, considered one of the greatest masterpieces of the world, as well as Islamic architecture. The presented mosque is located on the shores of the famous Sea of ​​Marmara in the beautiful historical center of the city. Construction of the mosque began in 1609, and lasted 7 years. The main building materials that were used in the construction of the mosque were: marble and stone. The name “Blue Mosque” received thanks to a large number of blue and white beautiful Iznik ceramic tiles, handmade, which were used in interior decorations. Ceramics were delivered from Iznik factories, as it was famous for its excellent quality. Sultan ordered to use this pottery only here and nowhere else, which is why all these factories fell into disrepair.

It should be noted that floral motifs dominate in the patterns of the Blue Mosque: roses, tulips, carnations, lilies and much more. The floor of the presented mosque is covered with unique handmade carpets. The glass of the mosque was specially brought from Venice. The most striking element of the Blue Mosque is the prayer niche, which has the name mihrab, it is carved from a single large marble piece. Every year this unique mosque is visited by a huge number of tourists from around the world.

Hagia Sophia is a former patriarchal Orthodox cathedral. It is worth noting that in 1985 St. Sophia Cathedral, like many other historical monuments of Turkey, was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. For a long period of time, this unique cathedral was the largest temple in the Christian world. The cathedral was erected in the period from 324 to 337 under the great emperor Constantine. During its existence, the cathedral was destroyed several times, and restored again. This temple is a unique structure, the beauty of which simply fascinates: the interior decoration of the cathedral continued for many years and was notable for its special luxury, for example, mosaic on the golden floor.

Another magnificence Topkapi Palace is a beautiful historical building, the main palace of the great Ottoman Empire. It is located on the Cape Arrows of the Bosporus, as well as the Golden Horn, in the area called Sultanahmet, not far from the famous Hagia Sophia. The area of ​​the palace is 700 thousand square meters. It is surrounded by a huge wall, the length of which is 1400 meters. This remarkable palace was erected in 1453, after the Turkish troops conquered Constantinople. Throughout its existence, this unique palace was enriched and completed.
