A male bear called a boar. To date, grizzlies are considered not only the largest bears, but also the most dangerous, because they do not yet know their rivals, if you do not consider the representatives of their own family. That is why grizzlies are able to attack other animals and even humans, without stopping before any obstacles.
Some Indian tribes considered it a feat to kill a grizzly bear, a kind of test that every warrior must go through. That is why the hunting was periodically organized on the bears, where the group consisted of 7-8 soldiers armed with all kinds of weapons that were only available: axes, spears, arrows. Today, with the advent of weapons, it became much easier to cope with grizzlies.
But to kill him can only aim hit in the head, in all other cases the animal will continue the attack.
Also to fairly large representatives of a huge family include polar bears, which live in the circumpolar region, bounded by the northern coasts of the continents. They are somewhat different from brown bears – their body and neck have a more elongated shape, and the head is flatter.
The average size of representatives varies within 2.8 meters of length, 1.6 meters in height and 500 kg in weight.
