Why do guinea pigs squeak ?
Guinea pigs – these cute animals, in fact, produce quite annoying sounds, reminiscent of whether creaking wheels, or squeaking children’s rubber ducks. Similar sounds the animal publishes when worried or hungry. And if it is still banging its teeth – it means that it is afraid or, conversely, it is ready to attack (or is afraid, but still ready to attack, this sweet, sweet guinea pig).
To determine whether your guinea pig likes to swim or not, put it a few centimeters from the pond (on the edge of the tub or pool). In this case, you “kill two birds with one stone”: buy a guinea pig and check whether she likes to swim.
If you decide to wash the guinea pig or give it a swim, be sure to begin the first such procedures with only a small amount of water, so that you can immediately pick up the pet from there.
See how your mumps react to water. If she does not like it, gently pull her guinea pig out of the water and calm her down. Leaving the excited mumps in the water is a bad idea. This can adversely affect both her health (due to stress) and her life as a whole (can drown).
