8 interesting facts about Dmitrievsky Cathedral
The city of Vladimir is rich in sights and ancient buildings, one of which is the famous Dmitrievsky Cathedral. This magnificent structure passed through the centuries, having survived in troubled times, wars and all other adversities that fell upon Russian lands. And to this day, hundreds of pilgrims and just tourists arrive to look at it.
On its walls you can see about six hundred bas-reliefs. Curiously, they depict both real creatures and mythological ones.
