Among the people who left an indelible mark in the history of all mankind, one of the first places you can safely put Leonardo da Vinci. A brilliant inventor, sculptor, painter, a storehouse of countless talents, he left behind a great many cultural heritage, which to this day is admired by millions of people, and countless art historians are still scrupulously studying everything that he gave to descendants.

At the age of 24, Da Vinci was convicted on charges of homosexuality, but was acquitted. History has not retained a single mention of his novels and other love affairs. Leonardo Da Vinci is the author of a voluminous list of synonyms meaning “male penis”. It was he who first established that moonlight is the reflected light of the sun. Also, Leonardo da Vinci explained the blue color of the sky, realizing and describing that it is due to “the thickness of the illuminated particles between the earth’s firmament and the blackness”.
He possessed both right and left hands equally deftly. Some circumstantial evidence suggests that Leonardo da Vinci was a vegetarian. He kept his diaries, writing down words and sentences in a mirror image from right to left. Why – not reliably known. The last two years of Da Vinci’s life were partially paralyzed, unable to even move independently. For 13 years he served as the manager of peers in Milan. According to contemporaries, he was not only a great cook, but also perfectly mastered the art of table setting. Leonardo da Vinci left behind many drawings of airplanes, tanks and bombs. He also invented the first diving suit. And Da Vinci came up with a robot, showing it to the public. By the way, now the NASA space agency uses real robots made according to this scheme. Well versed in anatomy, he compiled a handbook for doctors on the correct dissection of bodies and establishing the causes of death.
