From time to time the city suffers from earthquakes. About fifteen million tourists visit Vancouver annually. This city is the Canadian capital of the film industry. More movies and TV shows than here, only filmed in Hollywood. The border of the city from the USA is separated by a distance of only 42 kilometers. The world famous organization Greenpeace was founded precisely here. Vancouver is famous for its “wet city”. There is really a lot of rain here.
There are well-groomed beaches here, and in summer it is quite hot, but there are still few people who want to swim in the ocean – the water is still cold. Vancouver proudly bears the title of the cleanest metropolis of the planet. Many urban areas are informally divided along national lines. Nevertheless, Vancouver are very tolerant, and no conflicts on national grounds arise. Vancouver is the city with the highest real estate prices on the entire North American continent. Of all the cities of Canada, Vancouver holds the most disreputable first place in terms of crime. In the center of the city is Stanley Park, which is 10% larger than the famous Central Park in New York.
