Washington City
The city of Washington has been the capital of the United States of America since 1800, and interestingly, it does not belong to any of the states of the country, but exists as a separate administrative unit. The official name is DC. The city of Washington was founded in 1791 and is named after the first president of the United States, George Washington.
The city occupies a worthy place among the most beautiful cities of America, it rightfully competes with European capitals, and for this you need to say thanks to Pierre Langfan, who took part in the design of the city.
The White House is located in Washington – the residence of the President of the United States, the main building of the US War Department – the Pentagon, the International Monetary Fund, the International Bank, national associations and institutions: the Congress, the Supreme Court, the State Department, the Ministry of Justice, the FBI and many, many others.
