Eclectus parrot

Noble green-red parrots or eclectuses are a rare species found only in northern Australia, in New Guinea, on the Solomon and Moluccas. They live in dense tropical forests in mountainous areas at an altitude of no higher than 1000 meters above sea level. Keep alone or in pairs, sometimes gather in small flocks of up to ten individuals.

Due to their bright color, they are very popular for home maintenance.

Noble green-red parrots or eclectuses are not so common in our country, like wavy or lovebirds.

However, true lovers of parrots consider this species the most intelligent and smart, so to speak, intelligent representatives of the entire feathered tribe of parrots. That is why they got this name.

In addition to the beautiful appearance, these talking parrots, with which they grab the words on the fly, can almost immediately remember a few words or even a phrase. Noble parrots are very sociable and clean.

Eclectuses have the ability to memorize and reproduce human speech. Quite easy to learn and quickly master a few simple phrases. The content of electuses at home is not particularly difficult.
