Of course, you can have time to visit all places in Hong Kong, but, as in any city, there are places that should be visited. Rest will be inferior, if you do not go to Hong Kong Disneyland near Lantau Island, do not look at Victoria Peak, which is the highest point of the island, do not visit one of the most important temples of the city – Wong Tai Sin Temple.
The temple is made in the form of a national Chinese pagoda, depicted colorful and rich in decorations. Particularly interesting is the fact that all traditional religions of China, Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism are shown in the Wong Tai Sin temple. Fans of these religions go to the temple to worship in order to ask God Wong Tai Sin to answer their prayers, especially the problems associated with money.
You can plunge into the world of the past of this place by visiting the Hong Kong Museum of History – one of the most modern and popular not only locals, but also among foreigners, where the exhibits show the history of the city – about 6,000 years.
A remarkable exhibition “The History of Hong Kong” and several thematic exhibitions show the life of Hong Kong, starting with the most ancient settlements of the city, about the Chinese dynasties, the times of colonization and our days. It may be noted the popularity among visitors of another part of the museum, which shows the updated streets of the former city.
Among the collections of the Hong Kong Museum of Art you can see: sketches, wonderful paintings, lithographs, unique antiques, numerous objects of jade, ceramics, and bronze. The objects exhibited in the museum refer to both the ancient and the art of modern China. At this time, the museum is divided into seven galleries, two of which are movable expositions of museums in other states. And in one of the galleries are presented collections of Chinese calligraphy and painting.
The Space Museum is a very large building with a planetarium under its roof – modern and one of the most famous and large-scale in the world. The best point to observe this unique view is the quay of the Kowloon Peninsula, where even specially set seats for the audience. Every day, exactly at 22.00, music plays, under which the skyscrapers of Hong Kong Island shimmer with multi-colored lights. This magic lasts only 20 minutes.
After the show, you should walk along the Kowloon Embankment, where the clock tower is located, which was once the largest tower in the country of contrasts. Now she is just a baby compared to numerous skyscrapers. Here you can take a picture at the monument of the legendary Bruce Lee, and touch the palm print of the famous Jackie Chan, as the promenade of stars passes along the Kowloon Quay.
It should be noted, and such a peculiar sight as a two-story tram, which is more than a hundred years old. Regardless of age, the double-decker tram remains the main form of urban transport, the fare in which is very cheap. If you climb to the second floor, you can simultaneously watch the life of the city and ride.

You should not pass by and the Hong Kong zoo, which should not be judged by the size. There is a small number of cages with animals, whose habitat is Asian forests. However, it is very pleasant to walk in the park, especially after the hustle and bustle of not a small city. An amazing fact is the free entrance to the zoo.
Undoubtedly, the great variety of shopping centers can be attributed to the sights of Hong Kong. Since there is no law on VAT payment in the city, the prices for various goods are much lower, which means that Hong Kong is just a haven for avid shopaholics.
