Interesting facts about Ufa

Ufa – the city is not too densely populated, and therefore spacious, clean and beautiful. In the center of Ufa, you can see a lot of objects of antiquity, and in city parks it’s really nice to walk, especially on a warm summer evening, with a glass of cold kvass in hand.

For every inhabitant of Ufa there are almost 700 square meters of urban space. Due to this, the Bashkir capital is called the most spacious Russian megalopolis.

In Bashkir, the word “Ufa”, written in capital letters, resembles three circles crossed out with lines. Because of the appearance of the stylized letters, the capital of Bashkortostan, as well as its airport and train station, are jokingly called “Three Screws” or “Three Tablets.”
