One of these places is Lunhuasy Monastery in Shanghai. This magnificent architectural landmark was built by Qianshu’s ruler in the long era of the five dynasties. The entire large temple complex consists of five pavilions of the graceful octahedral Lunghuat pagoda, built in the year 242.
The height of the temple complex built of bricks and wood, reaches 40 meters. This complex is not only the largest, but also the oldest in Shanghai. When you visit the monastery, you feel keenly the presence of frozen time. Civilization was not able to leave prints of modern time here.
Centuries-old canons and sutras, golden seals and statues of Buddha from the times of the Ming, Tang, Qin dynasties. During your stay in the monastery you clearly realize that just a few steps away, behind a closed door, a completely different world is living a completely different life. This is the world of modern civilization technologies. The atmosphere prevailing in the monastery is able to tear a person away from the harsh modern life and give a feeling of psychological comfort and satisfaction.
